Potraits by Rex Marsden
By January 2009 the symptoms of dementia were becoming more obvious in the behaviour of Rex. He would often talk to himself, even hold an arguement with an inner person, unable when challenged; to recall who & what? Occasionally he will pace to and fro trying to remember what he should be doing. Yet without promting he is still keen to paint new pictures at the rate of one canvas a week. At the moment he has set his mind on painting portraits of family and friends.
